  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    On your question: No, a different file format is not allowed, at least atm, i have to think about that.

    I your case, your vid has a different resolution, so following rules apply:

    So it's allowed to post, because your vid is 640x480, the other 720x480.It's preferred to post a different resolution as an addition in the original thread but because the original is already 6 years old i think it's o.k. to post it as a new thread.

    There's no "old" thread, only threads with working or not working links.

    If you want to repost a vid that has been already posted, and the orig has dead links, report it here and we trash it.
    If the orig has working links post your new vid as addition in the orig thread please.

    Maybe so, but that is not the problem in my mind.
    That pic has been all over the internet and not only on Instagram.
    I'm just looking to clarify what to post where.
    A real front page of a famous magazine should be posted in Celebrity Photos, no matter where it comes from !
    ... but it seems that only i have opinions on this, so i give up ! :confused:
