Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

Just throw yourself into it and have fun, don't plan too much before you start; it just corners and limits yourself way too much.

Don't think its hard or difficult, most sigs around here are pretty easy to do ... you don't have to be Picasso, Photoshop or another program will do that for you.;)

I just go with the flow without any planning.
I often go in the opposite direction after several hours of fooling around.
This way you'll manage to obtain your own "style" faster and more clearly.

Use it if you like it 78. ;)

    I would say this

    1. Get at least a decent idea of what you want to do.
    2. Don't rush it.
    3. Use a proper program. Illustrator, p/shop, paintshop will all do.
    4. Collect as many custom brushes as you can and make sure they are compatible.
    5. And most importantly, look at your souce image. Does it lend itself to the panoramic 450x150 format? will it work? I have had to discard so many amazing images because the source image would work as a wall but not a sig.

You dont HAVE to use brushes. I'm not knocking them. They can be very useful at times but, dont think they are mandatory to produce a good sig. If you need background, try cutting some "blanks" from wallpapers and such (or simple solid colors) that will serve as foundations to build on. They can serve the same purpose without going through multitudes of brushes that may still not give you the effect you want.
