I'm surprised you couldn't tell that was a fake, wookiee.

Just lightened the shadows in the same way one usually do to expand the Dynamic Range.

Maybe you should educate yourself somewhat about photographic post production before you start to criticize others, and maybe contribute some images of value before you give other people commands!

 

Not to criticize the desire to enhance for viewer pleasure, images that adjustments were made should be posted in the X-ray thread. In this one, phunsters want real nips and stuff.

 

I did nothing that changed the nips, they are there in the original.
The originals have too high contrast and wrong white-balance.
The transparency and the visibility of the nips are clearly there in the original photos and would be much more evident in real life;

Here are two of the images adjusted for exposure, contrast and white-balance (the whole image).
(this also increase the moirè color noise as the cameras can't keep up with the texture in the fabric of the clothes)
Depending of the viewers monitor contrast how transparent the bra looks.

There is an entire thread http://forum.phun.org/showthread.php?t=92874 for members to post images with creative adjustments. This thread is intended for unaltered, unadjusted pics. Your nipple argument is beyond the point, you are adjusting the images. You do great work, if your aren't already posting in the x-ray thread you should check it out. Thank you for your contributions.

 

im gonna have to call bullshit its a simply freaking lighting contrast adjustment this thread is littered with HUNDREDS of them including the one that c-thru recently posted to lighten and make more visible the miley nipslip . get a clue

 

I have a clue, several in fact. Both the board game and the movie. You may have noticed since "lightened" pictures have been posted in this thread most of the posts have been arguments about the altered pics being posted in this thread. I don't understand the argument.

There is a Creative Backyard section of the forum for people to post pictures that they have altered. Altered pictures belong in the Creative Backyard, unaltered pictures belong here. When you start cross posting you get arguments that take up entire pages without any new pics. If you would like an example, look through the pages of the Celebrity X-Ray thread regarding what is and is not considered fake. You will find many arguments just like the one you made. None of that is necessary here. :2cent:

 

I feel the difference between what I recently posted outside the x-ray thread had merit due to the fact it wasn't making clothing more transparent, it was increasing the brightness on her actual exposed breast skin that was just more in the shadows. This is not an x-ray, and no "creativity" was involved, just a simple brightness & contrast adjustment. I would hope that more involved adjustments & x-rays are kept in the celeb x-ray thread though and not litter this thread with duplicate content, as it's got more than it's fair share of that already. Simply put, If you're making clothing more transparent through whatever image manipulation you choose, please post it in the x-ray thread.

 

I prefer a hard line when possible to keep things simple but I am a big fan of your work, in all of the threads that you contribute to and won't be discussing this any longer to avoid inevitable hypocrisy.

Well I do now. Thanks to you and athf4life & Doc. I even watched the vid before posting, and it still didn't dawn on me that it might be fake.
