It matters for when members run a search. Although both might still show up, I don't know, I haven't checked.

 

Search "Teigen", problem solved. Did you not pay attention to our conversation?

 

Um, people that post pictures... Nobody searches for just Teigen. Not to mention the fact that we recently adopted a policy for that exact reason with Peyton List. Also, every time someone uses Christine, someone else posts the pictures using Chrissy. I know, because I'm the one that always reports them in forum issues.

 

Peyton List and Peyton Roi List are a different issue, as they are two different people. Chrissy and Christine Teigen are the same person, and if people can't figure that out on their own when searching then they are either lazy or stupid. We don't have to make accommodations for people who are lazy and/or stupid. We'd be creating new rules every day if that was the case. I strongly urge you to think these things through before raising these issues.

 

Those of us that post in Forum Issues only do so because we care about this forum. We are trying to keep the forum clean, not trying to start problems. We are not mods, and we aren't going to be correct 100% of the time. So I'm not sure why, instead of appreciation, we are often met with less than friendly responses. :2cent:

 

Because some issues aren't issues at all, they are merely nitpicking. And mods are human, not automatons programmed to respond blindly to everything that the members feel are an "issue" instead of an actual rules violation, which is what Forum Issues is designed to address.

 

I was only making a suggestion to make things easier for people using the section. While I know to search for Teigen, not everybody does.

Still no reason to respond to people, who are only trying to help, with negativity. I'm not going to speak for Jack, but he seemed to understand the purpose of the suggestion I made. It was nothing against spider. In fact, the purpose of it was so that spider didn't have to always merge threads when people didn't do a thorough enough search.
