We have 6 lakes that feed the city with water. Each year the rain fills them up, if the rain is less we have water cuts. It's really a badly planned system, and there is tons of corruption.

Couldnt possibly agree more. In fact, I dont think I have ever agreed more with a single thing you have said here.

 

I see. We have had times where there has been restrictions placed on water usage here too. It's not that often, but it does happen. What would you do differently?

Create a back up solution for when the rains are bad.


Have every building install a private water tank to collect rain water.

Install new pipes. We are till using the pipes that the British laid down!!! There are tons of times when the pipes burst or leak and we suffer water shortages.

Get rid of the water mafia. Which is exactly what it sounds like, people who steal water from the lakes and then sell it.

 

But no, the fat useless ministers would rather take vacations to Thailand and hire prostitutes.
