Of course it is. But it's how these guys roll. I once came across a Model Mayhem thread in which GDP threatened legal action against a chick who posted information about how they tried to recruit her. Obviously baseless, but GDP understands the power of a (even baseless) threat.

 

Random question: has there been some kind of DNS/routing problem in the states? Practically every thread in the celebrity section is empty, i.e. without any thumbnails or other images whatsoever.

 

I'm only getting 'X's instead of thumbnails too

 

I checked a handful at random and didn't see any problems from my end. What threads specifically? I know you said most, but humor me. Do you have links? And what image hosts are they? (even if you can't see the thumbs you can click reply to see the bbcode and thus the host) Is it always the same one that fails or the same one that doesn't?

It seems to be imagebam.com which I cannot visit, imagevenue.com seems to work on my end, I see the pictures.

I'm still amazed that even a discussion thread would be removed, I can understand asking that any images or caps be removed, but WORDS, that's crazy.

they have contacted us with threats of legal actions. Cayne has pulled the plug on that content as a result. That includes the discussion thread in the lounge.
