That would be easier if I provided it. If brushes were used on this, I dont know. I'm not familiar with the ones you named. It only looks like a low speed camera setting to me.

You're right; although with some high quality brushes it's hard to see the difference, if any:

this one for example [IMG] I brushed and blended on the original. ;)

I blended a combination of these layers, using Color Efex Pro Cross Balance and Tonal Contrast to finish it off. I hope to do more of these types in the near future, with intentions of using some of my own texture creations. Its a nice change of pace from the "normal" edit.

A vignette type, done much the same as my last entry.

For you, Chum. Background, overlay converted to a greenish gradient, finish off with a bi-color filter and, of course, Anna

The weathered canvas (don't know how else to describe it) look with the color transitions looks great. Nott a tremendous amount of time this week for learning photoshop, but I think I'll try something like this son. Nice work SilentB!

Was aiming for that effect ... only I didn't have 3 identical pics with different exposures as you would normally need to do HDR.
Also, most HDR images suffer from pixel artifacts due to the over exposure of highlights and midtones and most HDR software I tried didn't give a decent result,
so I took a complete new approach to it.
I'm still developping and trying to understand it better but the great thing about it is I didn't use a pen tool to seperate the sky from the landscape and I didn't use any sharpening whatsoever ...

so, you see, what goofing about can lead up to. ;)
