  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Not sure where to put this small bit of info or if anyone else has found it. Log-in issues can be circumvented. From the Front Page click the forum link(in the left hand column). Opens to the log-on / index page. Scroll to the very bottom, click vB4 Default, select Default mobile, then you can log in or out and flip back to full site. Hope this helps y'all.

    I think the options right now are
    1) Keep the forum open in its limited functionality for those who want to continue to contribute, and at the very least use it to communicate with the members about what and when is going on.
    or
    2) Close the forum for an undetermined amount of time and shut the means of communication of when things would re-open.

    I think most would go with the former on this.

    Money needed to change hands first. The initial stages of the transfer will begin sometime in the next 24 hours, tentatively. That will entail creating a temporary copy of the forum on the new platform that we (mods) can use to hash out any issues and tweak out any bugs. Given that the staff lives all over the planet it will take a couple days before we're all on the same page in that effort. Once we have proven the new platform to our satisfaction we will then shut this forum down and do the transfer in earnest. We'll let you know when we get to that point.
