Man the OF content.
Are you guys ok with the amount of OF stuff that is found in Celebrity Extra?

All the OF stuff gets DMCA'd anyway mostly so the threads usually become kind of shells. They are like a piece of metadata ... so there is not the actual media data itself. Unless someone reposts the media but the hosts take down the reposted content after new DMCA notices.
Imho there is an undeniable correlation between people who post on OF and people who are
a) not primarily active in mainstream media (whether they are actors, athletes or talk show hosts) and
b) which have a somewhat contemporary reason for their fame (e.g. an actor who starred in some arguably well-known movie/tv show up to 10ish years ago, unlike some child actor who was active like 20-30 yrs ago) and
c) have their activity focused on OF and
d) they are mostly known for partaking in adult-rated content / showing skin. Which is ok and good. They are all hot, beautiful... and lots of other good things. And usually a mix of being a free spirit, open-minded and extrovert. (Whether one part is 0% or 50%, that is unknown, obviously.)

Have you guys discussed splitting up forums in celebrity categories (actors, athletes, game/news shows, OF, tiktok, ...)?

Hold on, the brie larson marvels trailer thread got locked too? What's going on here? I agree with shutting down bad conversations but are we really just shutting down everything now? This board used to be a place of vibrant conversation on every section. Please don't let this be the new norm.
I would much prefer a lively board of different opinions than one that was just approval posts.

 

I agree, however if users are going to spend their time arguing about what is woke or political in celeb image threads, we'll have no choice but to lock them up.

But there is something off big-time about it all imho.
I yet have to see some legit hate about Brie Larson. Because some random people posting that some other random people posted stupid stuff about it ... and then continue complain about stuff, is just a shallow self-fulfilling prophecy. Imho it just borders on outright trolling if not a targeted campaign because that type of "discussion" or whatever is a recipe for simply derailing any thread. It really can be applied to any topic after just a sliver of it has been reported on, does not matter if the topic was boobs, sports, covered on TMZ, CNN or some tech news site.

Let's play this through for a random scenario in a topic about body of "Jane Doe":
- User A likes her body. Says something nice.
- User B falls in line, adds he can't understand twitter user DudeC and DudeD–or maybe the actual usernames aren't mentioned–who did not like her because she said the earth contains a lot of water and it is good to know how to swim (wether she *really* said that or not, isn't discussed in detail and rather irrelevant for whatever reason), so DudeC and DudeD are the stupidest guys on the planet and everybody who agrees with them too
- User C appears, just talks to User B because he thinks DudeC and DudeD are cool and afraid of Jane Doe (wether he knows or read what they actually said in detail does not matter, same as fact-checking her original statement or in what context anything was said)

So suddenly there's such a stupid ass and heated discussion, I wouldn't know where to begin and try to understand their reasoning and logic in the first place.
However the outcome is rather interesting and often quite similar be understood: it a) creates a fuzz about someone else's opinion (who isn't even active here), b) usually gets off-topic, then c) it increases the "heat" factor which often leads to d) attacks on each other and finally e) nobody is there for the boobs or whatever original topic anymore.
So, what really is all that good for... ??
