i's really appreciate it if you could do two versions, one with the green bits changed to egg yolk yellow and the other one with the green bits changed ferrari red or similar.

Not really any more complex, about the same really. Gotta be at least five ways you can do this although the results are slightly different for each. Mostly you just pick the one you feel like using.

You can use Hue/Saturation but I find the results often look a bit "off", too flat or cartoony maybe? (specially if you use Colourise) so I've mostly switched to other routes.

I tend to go with Selective Colour adjustment layers. Selective Colour tends to get underused which is a shame because it's very powerful... particularly since you can target neutrals as well as black and white, which allows you to tweak the colour in shadows and light areas in a way that you can't with many other adjustments.

You could even do this Old Skool with regular layers, using the right blending modes I usually go this way for tinting greyscale images, adding a couple of layers... #1 set to Colour, #2 set to Overlay if it's needed (no right or wrong here, whatever looks right). The layers could be filled with the same colour or something slightly different.

And people wonder why Photoshop takes so long to learn :scratchchin:

Since '93 or '95 here, not sure.

Total time counts more obviously, I suppose you could pass the exam to be a Certified Photoshop Expert in less than a year, if you used it full time and really hit the books.
